After competing in high school and college cross country and track & field, Rosalie and her husband Tom spent many years coaching a variety of youth sports; including soccer, basketball, slow and fast pitch softball, and baseball. They also coached track & field and cross country for a total of 10 years at Crestwood High School. While at Crestwood, Rosalie and Tom used their professional coaching skills to lead several athletes to the state tournament, including several individual championships and one team championship.

Interestingly, the whole family competed in the 2015 Warrior Dash at Clays Park, Ohio, where all four of them finished in the top 3 earning a trip to the World Championships of the Warrior Dash in Pulaski, Tennessee. Bridget won the overall women's event!
In keeping with their love of the outdoors and living a healthy lifestyle, Tom and Rosalie own and operate Butternut Hill Farm, a certified tree farm. They organically grow as much of their own food as possible and maintain trails for walking, biking and skiing. They plant and tend to thousands of trees, some of which are used to reforest the land, while others are grown for Cut-Your-Own Christmas trees.
